Don't know if this is the right place to post this query though it is associated with heritage. I and some others are hoping to have a commemoration of the great Lockout in 1913 with a reenactment of the era and a few speeches by someone acting as Jim Larkin etc. So what I'm wondering, does anyone know of maybe a reenactment or drama society or similiar who could help us source costumes of the era ?

There was a tailor at the top of Capel St (on right as you go to Bolton St) that used to provide costumes etc for the Abbey. He may be able to help

Well it's going to be quite amateurish, for only half an hour, if theirs much costs involved we'll look for another alternative. But thanks all the same.

No problem. There are amateur drama groups in most areas now. Any of them that has done any of the Sean O Casey plays would be able to help. A bit of googling might rise someone
