Under Stairs Storage

Anyone know what kind of touch latches they use for this job? Something has to be pushing out the drawer,or is it them push to open drawer runners they use which are expensive for drawers that size

My brother has asked me would I do a job like that in the clip for underneath his stairs.
What do you think guys?

There are plastic push -to -open catches available in all the mail order hardware suppliers. I don't think specialist drawer runners are economical for such a small project.

Hey Fat Nav, That's our unit (www.ingrained.ie) in the video at the start of this thread. We get our runners in a few different places but mostly from Hafele or Frank Flanagan Fixings in Dublin. They are called side mount ball bearing runners and come in a variety of sizes from 250mm to 700mm.

Also Kerrydude1981 there are loads of different push latches you can get. We use the barrel type which you can also get in Hafele. Just as a side note these push latches will only take a certain amount of weight before they stop working correctly.
