Sorry AlanSTrainor and other mods if this has been done already. I searched, but can't find my specific query on here and i have heard varying amounts of information from people.

I got my full license in May 2011, so it is obviously only going to be 2 years old now. I want to get one of those new highfalutin card licenses, cause some airlines will accept them as ID and some countries will even accept them as ID to enter (my Dutch friend entered here on a similar Dutch ID Card).

Anyways, it says you can renew it if you are applying for the first time, renewing a license due for renewal, renewing a license which is expired, replacing a lost or stolen license or a damaged one.

Now, what I am asking is, if one loses his or her license does it leave a black mark on your record like a passport? Or if it was damaged (like going through the wash). The fee is €55 squids which is a rip off :eek:

I am NOT advocating anything illegal or seeking illegal advice, I am just seeing if there is some way around this nonsense. Could I "change" my address to my girlfriends house temporarily or would I have to prove I am living there?
