Barrel Extension removal

    Particularly stubborn one here on a 416, any advice for removing it? Think it may have been glued in the factory.

    If you think its glued submerge it in hot water to melt the glue. That is
    about the only thing I could think of.

    Have you checked to see if there is a grub screw underneath?

    I had this problem last night myself, heat up the joint and use a strap wrench to loosen it.
