Broken Bath tub Rented Accommodation??

Strange situation the bath tub in my rented flat broke. There was no damage caused by us, just one of my room mates were taking a shower and the bath basically split. Anyone have any idea whether this our responsibility or the landlords responsibility to get fixed??

Probably badly installed.

If genuinely not caused by misuse, I would see this as landlord responsibility.
