closest dark sky for somebody in Dublin?

    I'm in D12, where is the closest I should go to get some decent picture of the milky way on a clean night?

    Trooperstown....There is car park beside the park over there.No street lights in sight!Thats the darkest place i have been in Ireland so far.Wouldnt go there on my own tho...
