    So who has them here?

Our family have had them for as far as I can remember, 6 seats all together.

    Good investment.

Thinly veiled are you jealous of our stash of 10 year tickets thread.
Is your Dad the highest paid KPMG partner ?

I am not sure how that is a relevant comment.

Are there any other ticket holders here on this forum?

How are they an investment ? You are not supposed to sell them for profit.

Not all investments sole aim is the making of profit.

For example if you bought a case of Tuscan red wine in 1997 it is a good investment as you will have the pleasure of opening a bottle.

I feel you have a lot to learn in life.

Anyway back on track. Best match I watched using our 10 year tickets was Ireland v Australia WC QF in 1991. You could have heard a pin drop after they scored.

No its not, its an investment if you store it and age it correctly with the intention of selling it once the product is harder to come by

    Definition:
    Noun
The action or process of investing money for profit or material result.

A thing that is worth buying because it may be profitable or useful in the future.

Unsure what relevance those have. Magic beans cannot guarantee you the best seats in the house.

Might I suggest you give them to Declan Kidney though, he needs all the help he can get these days.

Okay folks, if the OP wants to discuss 10 Year Tickets he can, no need to be so chastising.

One of the perks of having a 10 year ticket in my mind is that you know the people sat around you. We all went to the same schools and universities which is comforting. Always a great chance to catch up, many a business deal was made in those seats.

I know Paul Howard quite well. He jumped the shark as early as 1999.

Considering there are a fair amount of dead rubber international games I wouldn't buy a 10 year ticket myself. Happy to just pick and choose 1 or 2 a year.

I suppose the advent of the fairweather supporter would not preclude itself to such a purchase.

Considering you are making business deals while in your seat instead of watching the match I wouldn't be so quick to throw around the old "fairweather fan" slag.

I think its more of a case of the recession biting and high ticket prices kicker

I have bought Leinster seasons tickets for last few years, i didnt go for one this year (thank god!:D), as I didnt think I would get the use out of it. A 10 year ticket with a set seat would do my head in though, and I am sure I would tear it up if I thought I would be sitting next to someone like the OP for 10 years worth of matches! :pac: *

Plenty time to chat at half-time and after. Swing and a miss chappy.
