Applying for 2 jobs in the same company

I've been looking for work and a company has advertised 2 jobs I'm interested in: a web developer and an App developer. I have experience in both fields and would be happy doing either.

Is it a good or bad thing to apply for both? My cover letter and CV would have to be tailored for each job which is fine but how would this look to a potential employer? Am I better off just going for one of the positions?

Pick one and apply for it and let the company decide. Applying for two jobs makes you look indecisive and doesn't come across well, imho.
