If your first annual return for a limited company (ie, the one due 6 months after incorporation without accounts) is late, do you lose your audit exemption for the next 2 years? I know you lose it for subsequent late returns.

    Thanks

Eventually got through to the CRO. They confirmed that the company does not lose it's audit exemption if it's first return is late.
    Thanks

Yes your correct. If yiu have access to www.core.ie you can file an online b1 and freeze the late filing fee at today's amount
