Hi, just want to check that, can my husband claim back the tax he paid from the date of our marriage ( start of November 2012) til the end of last year. He is now claiming all my tax credits as i am not working and he is now not paying any PAYE.

    Thanks..

It doesn't work like that. A year of marriage review will grant him 2 months worth of your transferable rate band and credits. This will then be put against the tax he paid for 2012 to see if any refund is due.
