There are only 2 kinds of people in Clare- the daft and the selfish.
The daft accept everything and
the selfish steal everything.

A friend who wasn't from Clare always said this. I gave out to him. He said the non-daft, non-selfish Clare people had emigrated generations ago.

Was he joking or was there truth in what he said?
