My 2002 Volvo S80 is as comfy as any driver wants.

But its to soft and bouncy for our by-roads. What is the best and cheapest was to harden/Stiffen the Suspension without wrecking the car.

I only want to small bit to stop the roll on corner and that bounce every time I hot a bump.

    Any ideas??

sound like shock absorbers gone. did it pass nct ?
id say , get new springs and gas shock absorbers. ... or maybe need new shock absorbers.

The good auld bounce test seems fine shock wise....it is a heavy car!!

Id say better shocks should do the trick....any specific ones or just standard gas??

    Thanks for the vid

    welcome.... :)

i am not familiar with particular car, maybe pop in in some volvo s80 forums, ask same question, believe such question been up. it is all depends of budget .. i believe. to change shocks and springs, would be around 500 , if you do yourself, but i dont know exact amount of money.... just rough.

p.s. that video been here in forum, cant remember why it was here, but i did remember it :)

For the issues you mention, a good quality set of uprated springs and stiffer anti-roll bar bushes would be ideal IMO.

As a cheeky aside, I have a lightly used set of Eibach sportline springs sitting in the garage for an S80;)
