    I have the most genius invention the Spanish have come up with since chorizo. It's halfway between a chorizo and an Irish breakfast sausage. It's shaped and mostly flavoured like a chorizo, except the meat is different and minced differently, in a way a lot similar to our sausages.

    Since when? Chorizo is said to originate from the The Iberian Peninsula, which encompasses more than just Catalonia. If the chorizo was produced in Spain (outside of Catalonia), it would be accurate to call it Spanish.

    Most would accept calling it Spanish even if was made in Catalonia, besides maybe the Catalan's themselves.
