Heads up on the above tonight. Might be worth a look. Hopefully not the usual TV3 drivel.

Here we go, it's the "speeding" again

Good timing. Set it to record. When I had it on, they were whinging about byelaws in the removal of 80kmh speed limit signs in Limerick. I dont hold out much hope!

Watching it, it's sh!te. Misleading title, only actual road focused on so far has been the N4 near Sligo.

The M7 through the bog in Limerick/Tipp was stupid planning alright, but it's hardly a worst road...one of the best in the country.
    Agree the Roscrea junctions though.

M50 is 30 km long...no Conor it's actually 45 km...but the Km per year to build sounded good.

Most clips etc are badly put together from news stories over the past few years. Clap trap. N4 does need up grade though

And the RSA lecturing us about speed. Ya know, the usual justifying their existance stuff...no mention of some of the real worst roads like the N24, N20, N17 etc and the numerous safety, socio economic negative affects they inflict. Typical TV3 thrown together trash really.
The M50 was a problem area for years and very congested...but one of Ireland's worst roads? Hardly.

The program is just a selection of really old clips, one even shows a person being interviewed with a Dublin bus bendy bus in the background!

Lazy programming. No real insight into anything apart from the usual easy mantra of speed kills...no, it's inappropriate speed for the road and conditions that kill.
The M50 was thrown in for good measure, not a worst road in the safety sense and never was in my book. No mention of the real worst roads like the N24 or some of the atrocious National secondaries still out there.
