Advice Pls: TT brakes

So I need to get brake levers for a TT build and before I do, I think I need a "101" on the subject..... :)

    • Are they tricky to fit - they seem like an interference fit to some extent with the cabling holding some of the tension??
    • Do I need to match levers to the calipers (which will be either 105 or Ridleys own 4ZA branded jobbies)
    • Presumably internally cabled is better (the bars I have will accommodate this)
    • Given the range of cost, there are obviously features and benefits of one type? Are some more 'adjustable' for reach/feel.
Any specific recommendations - noting that I'm on a tight budget?

    Thanks in advance

    What frame are they for?

Its a Ridley Cheetah frame (cabling internal in frame) and the bars are these Deda Elements with 20mm tubing for levers

I bought profile design carbon from slane cycles. Easy to fit. Stop well with dura ace 7800 calliper brakes. They have a good range. Alloy ones would obviously be a good bit cheaper and more durable though.

No. I have Cane Creek levers on SRAM (probably Apex but not marked).
