No sound coming from DVD Player - Picture Perfect

Hi all, I tried hooking up my DVD player last night for the first time in yonks, but the picture came out fine, but no sound. Im not sure as to what is causing the problem. I have a HD tele with the Sky box running through the HDMI cable. But when i connect the DVD by scart to the TV, i go to scart 1 and the picture…

Hi all,

I tried hooking up my DVD player last night for the first time in yonks, but the picture came out fine, but no sound.

Im not sure as to what is causing the problem. I have a HD tele with the Sky box running through the HDMI cable.

But when i connect the DVD by scart to the TV, i go to scart 1 and the picture appears, but no sound....

TV has two scart ports, and have tried alternating but still no sound.

Any one got any ideas??

Is there any pins bent or missing form either end of the scart cable???
