Has anyone got any good ideas of reducing the cold bridge where new blockwork of an extension meets an old cavity wall. Most builders seem to ignore this and tooth the new blockwork in every 2nd course building the insulation board tight to the old wall leaving a cold bridge through the outer leaf of old wall.
