as per title......too tight to buy new callipers and as a result of having a few hairy moments last year, I want to try to minimise risks if possible. Also anybody know where to buy aksium spokes or their equivalent in another brand.Cheers lads.

For Aksium spokes from 2010 onwards here. I ordered some recently. http://www.rosebikes.co.uk/search/find/?q=aksium+spokes

For other years http://www.pedalon.co.uk/acatalog/wheel_spokes.html

If unsure as to which spokes you need look at the Mavic Technical Manuals for spoke lengths. 2010 one here, you'll need to know what year your wheels are.

For pads I never look beyond Koolstops, Salmons for wet conditions during winter.
