Hi, Any advice appreciated. My sons laptop when switched on reads the following.

Windows has encountered a problem communicating with a device connected to your computer.

This error can be caused by unplugging a removable storage device such as an eternal usb drive while the device is in use, or by faulty hardware such as a hard drive or cd rom that is failling. Make sure any removable storage is properly conntected and restart your computer.

    Status Oxcoooooe9

Info: an unepected I/O error has occurred.

There was nothing connected when this happened, no usb's no cd roms etc, just a pair of gaming headphones. He was online playing Minecraft and also on skype.

Has anyone any advice ? sorry know its a lot to ask , but any appreciated.

    Thanks.
