    Thanks

    Custom or store bought.

Store bought I guess, I never really thought about custom. Just looking for something a bit nicer than the standard stuff you see in Electrical shops, Ikea doesnt really have anything that suits 46inch Televisions.

    Thanks,

Hiya, got my one from Next just before Crimbo. It's the Mode in walnut finish and it can take a TV up to 60inch but they have loads of other ones. Delivery is only €5 but can take 4weeks. We are really happy with the quality

The Furniture Liquidator in Gullivers Retail Park (beside Homebase).......About 2 minutes down the road from Ikea.

I got a fantastic deal on a large solid oak TV unit,2 solid oak side tables and also a lovely brown leather 3 seater couch.

Haggled and got a serious great deal indeed.:D

Go and deal with the blonde lady in there, she will cut you a great deal.:)

Ive also bought furniture from Ikea too,and its good quality, but the deal I got from that blonde lady in The Furniture Liquidator was and is brilliant.

    Hi paddy,

Does the Furniture Liquidator only sell their display furniture, or is it new?

I walked into their showroom last week and the sales rep mentioned a dining table set I was interested in will be delivered new from their warehouse. A different sales rep at the same showroom told me I'd get the display item.

    Thanks,
    ps

They sell both......they will take any reasonable offers on shop floor items and also on new items too.

My 3 seater leather couch was a shop floor/display model (pristine condition) and my oak TV unit and 2 side tables were brand new items in boxes and bubble/plastic wrapped.

I took the TV unit and 2 side tables away with me there and then.:)

With the demise of CRT televisions the TV stand has also gone. No need to buy a "TV stand "
I use a black billy bookcase from ikea on it side, you know the one with 2 rows of 4 squares .
Only cost something like 44 euro.
