I started doing the old STRs (student training records) back in the day. I found it very difficult to tick the boxes.

Fast forward a few years I had to do the PERs instead. All of a sudden I could tick most of the boxes and then just had to wait a few months to be a qualified accountant.

Another girl I worked with spent 3 years doing data entry and she was able to tick all the boxes.

You have absolutely nothing to worry about.

    Hello there,

I am in exactly the same position and would like to meet up with someone in order to complete them much faster i.e. common objective etc.

I am based in Mid - North Tipperary and believe these could be done over 2-3 days at a push.

    Regards,

    Chevy RV

I was also not very confident about ACCA Performance Objectives before I fulfilled them. I filled and submitted the ACCA Performance Objectives to ACCA authorities and they passed me. Here, I shall provide you those filled ACCA Performance Objectives for your guidance. You have to fill 13 performance objectives. First 9 are compulsory and other 4 out of 11 are optional. What you need to do is to write them, print and be signed by your mentor.

I can send you copy of these passed POs if you want. Just send me an email to get the copies.
    Email:* no emails please*

You can also download them from the following website.

OR SPAMMY SEO TYPE LINKS PLEASE

    Thanks!!!

If you are exempted as your boss is a qualified Trainer.. Is it a matter then of doing exams getting experience and then thats it..

My boss got email said he was qualified trainer has given me the exemption but it annoys me on my PER that is says ive 0 out of 13 when it also says i have the exemption..

Just want to clarify as he replied to an ACCA email saying that he was my trainer

    @Brad,

You are exempted from ACCA Performance Objectives only if your employer is a golden ACCA employer. You need to check the status of your employer in your country. It is available on ACCA website. If your employer is not a golden employer, you need to fill the ACCA Performance Objectives and file it just like other students.

Well in this case, you don't need to do anything else but passing your exams and ethics module. You just need to send a certificate on your employer's letter head to ACCA authorities as a confirmation that you have worked for 3 years with a golden employer. If there is some procedural activity, ACCA will let you know and help you in getting member. So, do not worry, your membership is just a step away.
