Welfare Payment Change

    HI,I received a letter today from the welfare saying

    There has been a change in Policy & all our payments to you will be now paid to a Post Office[Was getting payed direct debit last 18months].Can u please state below the post office of your choice in which ur payments are 2be now paid.Once nominated we will write to you advising when you can collect your payment


    Just wondering what is the reasoning for the change of payment method & has it happened to anyone on this forum

    Reason being that you have to be there in person to pick up your money. I think it's to stop people claiming while abroad.
