Im weirdly surprised that this has not made the roads forum given that its the most major ongoing project (other than in Kerry forum) Really shows how little national importance the road is i guess. Anyways, ill get the ball rolling here. Does the road really benefit the region that much?

Not as much as the Adare or Macroom bypasses would do in my opinion.
