Are there any Irish based sites such as elance and freelancer? I find it hard to get work on freelance because I'm competing with coders from around the world that charge less. I fund freelanceireland.ie but wasn't to impressed. Was getting page not found a lot of the time.

Have never bothered with those freelancer sites coz I only do full-time contracting - rather than oddjob part-time stuff. I just make sure my CV is on file with all the agencies in europe tbh. Am hoping to use roleconnect.com in the future to cut out the middleman.
