King's Inns Diploma in Legal Studies

I'm interested in applying to do the Kings Inns Diploma in legal Studies. To enhance my application & provide some grounding in law I'm interested in the Open University Starting with Law Openings course but it isn't available to ROI residents.

Considering the course will be delivered via email and online, is it simply a case of providing a UK address for application purposes? If not, is there an alternative course available? Course details http://www3.open.ac.uk/study/undergraduate/course/y186.htm

    Thanks in advance

You don't need to 'enhance' your application. As long as you have a recognised degree in something and can write an appropriate cheque you're in.

Thanks. I don't have a degree and according to the KI website there are no formal entry requirements

Do you even need a degree after 21?

I'd have done the Dip course if I wasn't reliant on the BTEA and had done my research but if you want a law degree and the KI won't take you (highly unlikely in this economic climate) they are far from the only show in town.
