Im thinking of starting up my own business. Just a general gardening business, but havent a clue on how to price a job.
Was hoping someone here might be able to help.
For example if i had to do a job say mowing or strimming would i be charging for travel expenses to get there, and then petrol used doing the job, then labor obviously?
I wouldnt want to charge too much either as i wouldnt have as much experience as other gardening companies.

    thanks

You have to add up your costs (ie. Your petrol etc.) Then how long roughly you think it would take to do the job (Presuming since you are hoping to start the business and have some experience) and work how much you want to make per hour.

But also staying competitive at the same time, ie. Not allowing your 50 euro per hour.

You could also ring a few different landscaping companies and price jobs with them and see can you be more competitive.
