This guy has 99.8% Positive Feedback, is it a hacked account? How come more and more of these are appearing every week. This must be the 20th or 30th i've seen of these since Christmas. It's probably only a matter of time before they realise if they up the price on some items by €20 people would believe them, and get sucked in.

He's selling this for €12.78 with free P&P. I have to admit i'm tempted, even though i am 100% convinced it is a scam because i've seen so many.

Other items he has for sale include this for €20 delivered.
10.1" N10 3GVersion Tablet PC Qualcomm Cortex A5 Dual Core 1.2GHz IPS Phone

I'm going to have to block Ebay altogether, as this is getting too easy for them. They can already say they are in Germany, UK, France etc..

Change their names to Fred231 or something, and i'm going to spend...

Are Ebay doing anything about these new scams? I can't find any info anywhere, but a lot of people seem to be well aware of these..

I haven't seen anything as blatant as that before. Positive feedback from people who haven't received their goods and in many cases with (0) feedback themselves. eBay has become a minefield of scammers and the company seems to make zero effort to deal with it.

I note seller is supposedly based in China but he managed 1 day delivery to a buyer in Israel - now that's what I call service!

I didn't notice his feedback dates that much .
But i have seen a few of them sellers. One guy a couple of weeks ago had the similar items up for sale, and if you googled one of them (A 10.1" Windows tablet) he way he had written it in the description, there were hundreds of blogs/wordpress sites/free hosting blog sites/free hosting pages etc..

All, i have no doubt posted by him. Unless there is a team of them. But they must be making serious money.
Also, if you go to "Feedback as a seller", there are mixed comments.

    That tablet is usually $250.

This is the other guy, and one of his items was

    10.1", Windows 7, 32GB SSD Tablet PC DUAL-CORE Atom N570 Processor 2GB DDR3

Which he was also selling on Amazon cheap, but look at those google results. starting at the bottom 3 on page 1 and from then on for ages...

They are definitely perfecting their scams. The amount of time and effort they must put into it.. It's unreal.

Its strange that all his buyers have left positive feedback , and they have not received item yet .

That might be because they wanted people to be able to see their comments.. Or it could be scammers practicing..

It seems these guys could already scam people out of cash. They or he seems to have a load of accounts on Ebay, hundreds of blogsites, averaging feedback in the 90's %, and are able to claim to be in any Country in the world.

This guy says China, reduces the price too much, and is wasting those accounts with the high feedback (As Ebay close them as soon as they are aware of the scam). - Why?

It all seems dodgier than dodgy. The scary thing is how good they are getting.
Admittedly, you may never get scammed out of a load of money on ebay, unless they are somehow also collecting bank details, but this has the potential to scam thousands.

These "bargain buys" have appeared in French, German, Spanish and Dutch sites. They have also appeared here.

So in one item posting, they could potentially have tens of thousands of buyers. They could make it more appealing/less obvious and sell to hundreds of thousands.

Why aren't they doing that yet?
