    I am looking for recommendations for an amp to go with Bose 901 speakers.

    Nice speakers. If you get the chance to try them from tubes, I doubt you'll go back. Especially if you primarily listen to music of a more acoustic persuasion. Classical, jazz, trad/folk etc.

    And especially especially if you like listening to those on vinyl.

    Thanks endacl interesting suggestion. You got my music type in one. Would that amp give a mellow type sound associated with old tube radios? Do you know if they are retailed here as google search seems to give only US results. Would love to hear the amp.
