Injection for calf

    There was an injection I used to have for calves with scour it was given under the skin,
    now I cant think of its name but I could do with getting a shot for a calf

    might be marbocyl. but you wil have to go to your vet to get it anyway

    but you are right about the vet.

    The only two that comes to mind is Marbocyl solo or Baytril, both effective if it's a bacterial infection.

    The vet gave me marbocyl before the christmas , she reckoned it covered most types of scour in calves .

    i have used a product called Soluchor that you can put in the milk, it is a soluble CTC powder, did a serious job on sick calves, has any one else used this. it is handy as you do not have to inject the calves.

    There's a generic form of baytril out. It's called enrotril. I don't know if many vets stock it. Probably not enough margin. Also kefloril instead of nu-flor and vibromec instead of ivormec. I've used them all and find them the same except for the price.
