no air filter

    hiya, i was just wondering would it be ok to do a days work with my mini digger with no air filer in it. the digger is as old as the hills n when i went to start it after a few months today water had gotten into the air filter n all it was missing was mushrooms growing outta it!
    it just doesnt suit me to hike it to motor factors tomorrow n a good chance theyll have to order it in. thanks folks

    in one word NO. if any dirt gets into the engine it will prob feck it up

    Most definitely not good for the engine. Can cause alot of harm. It was in place for a reason. You have to replace it some day , so you may well do it tomorrow or whenever, before you use it. It could be penny wise pound foolish;)
