Plumbing question

    Hi just a quick question, When the back boiler starts to heat the rads I have noticed a lot of rumbling in the attic and a discharge of water from one of the pipes coming out trough my facia is this somting I should be worried about:confused:

    It's pitching or the water level in the f & e could also be set too high and when the heating comes on the level will rise above the overflow.

    Try setting the stat for the back boiler a bit lower.

    Stat turned down to forty now I'll let ye know if it works, And thanks for the advice lads

    It;s probably very hot when the pump kicks in.
    The problem is usually down to bad installation, to do it correctly a gravity circuit should feed the cyl., when the return comes up to temp the stat (on the gravity return) brings on the punp to heat the rads.

    Don't understand Shane? I'm just trying to find out is the stat on the return or flow. I personally prefer them on the flow. I'm also on here to learn from other lads too and see their opinions on things that differ to mine. Apologies if I went a bit off topic
