Mic/Pickup for an acoustic guitar

I have a vintage Yamaha acoustic, and I want a pickup for it. I know NOTHING about this, so forgive the ignorance :-)

I want to capture the full sound of the instrument, rather than just the strings, so I want a mic rather than a pickup, I guess?

Any suggestions? I found this site http://www.marvinpickups.de/, and they seem like the sort of thing I'm looking for.

    Budget, as low as possible.

    Thanks

I am lookin at doing something similar. I also have a Yamaha and like the sound of it. I was think of adding pickups / mic or a combination of both. I know very little about this. I don't mind making a tasteful mod to guitar if necessary. I have seen some online that sit inside sound hole with a curve to match hole which look interesting. Has anyone any advise. Budget up to about €200.

depends how much you are willing to drill holes in a vintage instrument.

and how loud your monitoring will be.

an internal mic is feedback city.

great for recording, but not great live.
