    Hi Folks
Can anyone tell me if they have used a personal shopper at all (recently) and what their experience was? Did you really get something suitable or is the outfit you got still sitting in the back of the wardrobe and never worn?:(
The reason being is that my body has changed shape due to dieting and due to recent redundancy, I need to get some outfits suitable for interviews. I am not keen on getting a suit that can be limiting (and eventually put at the back of the wardrobe!) but some good quality clothes that are smart, presentable, reusable and can be mixed and matched. Budget is key word here.
Someone has mentioned that House of Frasier has an excellent service and it’s free but I would like other suggestions and possibly city centre as well.
    Any sensible advice welcome! :)
    Thanks Folks!

I tried the Debenhams personal shopper a year or so ago. I didn't buy anything but that was more so because it was a) at a seasonal change over so the choice of clothes for my interview wasn't great and b) because I wasn't overly gone on anything that was picked out.
However, that said, the lady I dealt with was lovely, she did listen to what I was after and how much I wanted to spend and was very honest about what did and didn't look good. In fact she was always quite honest about the fact that she didn't really have what I was looking for.

    Hi Penny

    Thanks for getting back.

Did Debenhams charge for the service?

    Tigger!

Hi Tigger, sorry for the delay in replying to your post. They didn't charge.
My sister used them a year or so ago too for clothes for her summer holiday and a general wardrobe revamp.
She went to the one on Henry Street I think and she got loads of things that were really lovely on her.
