Your Best Ideas Creative Should Have Used (but didn't)

Ok this is just a light hearted thread idea. Basically, I'm looking for realistic ideas you have had that would've made sense throughout the past. May have been big business changers or, on the other hand, may have been small and pedantic.

My one's (for now) are of the latter variety :p

*Chris Jericho should've joined and led the Un-Americans. He was loosely alligned with them at their formation and would've transitioned in seamlessly.

*Miz and John Morrison should have had a Tag Team name. Something official like the A-Listers or the Paparazzi, just to legitimise them.

*Cryme Tyme and the Hart Dynasty should have never seperated.

I know they aren't great shouts but it's a start. What can the rest of you boys and girls come up with?

Weren't they called MNM or something like that when Melina was their manager?

Nope that was Mercury and Morrison(Johnny Nitro at the time) around 05-06.

Christian should have gone for several months as a beloved underdog veteran after winning the title in honour of his best friend/brother Edge. Then Mark Henry should have killed him in their first match together at Summerslam, absolutely killed him, with several weeks off afterwards to highlight just how much he killed him.
That way, you then get a solid 6-9 months of Orton chasing.

Upper midcard guys should get patches of time off to stop everyone from viewing them as the jobbers to the main eventers.

In the feud between the Big Show and SES, Big Show should have been the one getting the ****e battered out of himself every week.

Filming backstage segments in a more realistic manner than that ludicrous way of them all standing side by side with the camera sorta swaying around them. Impact does that kind of thing heaps better.

I really think WWE missed an opportunity with not having an Edge V Christian feud

They feuded for some time in 2001. And capped it off with a cage match which was very similar to the Owen-Bret Cage match from Summerslam 1994.

I assume you're pointing at a feud towards the end of Edge's career.

Yep and for a world title

At ecw ons 2 when they had Eugene come out he should of dropped the gimmick and blasted wwe for turning him into that character, blast mcmahon etc and just go by the his real name....would set the tone perfectly for the new ecw show that was debuting

Sounds familiar to Matt Borne in ECW with the Doink gimmick. Very VERY good shout Sirsok. Any more in that brain of yours?

Does anyone remember when DiBiase and Orton had a REALLY competitive match back in the Legacy days and the crowd was solidly behind DiBiase? Always felt right after DiBiase should have attacked Orton after the match and had a short feud for the title similar to Shelton Benjamen/HHH years back. Nagged me how much of a waste that was especially seeing how he has just faded into obscurity ever since.

The whole gimmick was his idea. He still uses a variation on the indies. He was one of the most popular guys on the roster aswell, would have been a waste to turn him.

Someone on here once had a hilarious split-personality storyline for Big Show. Based off all his face/heel turns.

As a tangent off this point. Do you remember when Legacy was recruiting and they had Manu and also Sim Snuka as a prospect? Then Ted DiBiase returned with them both as back up to confront Orton and Rhodes (who earlier assaulted Ted) but he double crossed them? I reckon they should've given Snuka and Manu a run as a tag team to feud with the Legacy and see what happened. It's not as if they were doing anything else. Plus they have shared Island heritage.

Ooo I like this. You're right, it would have gone down a treat.

One little idea I've thought about would be to have Mr. Money in the Bank (in this instance,Dolph Ziggler) win the Royal Rumble and go on to his Championship Main Event at Wrestlemania.... and lose. Straight afterwards as the champ is celebrating *boom* have Mr MITB smack him with the case and cash in for the cheap victory. Ultimate heel heat.

Could also work for a babyface if the heel cheated to win in the first instance.

Copy New Japan and have a MITB winner defend the Briefcase like a title. Let the guy that holds win a good few matches, refuse to cash in and take an easy road to winning the title, get himself over as a big deal before challenging the champion at Mania and winning the world title. It would suit a face wrestler perfectly. Winning the title from a downed opponent is dull at this stage and arguably peaked when Edge did it as first MITB winner! (Punk screwing Jeff was close)

Might work best if whoever won MITB was already guaranteed a title shot for some reason after the ppv, won the title without needing the case, obviously loses the title and maybe disappears for a while before coming back a bit before the rumble - making sure that everyone* has properly forgotten about him having the case!

    * mostly everyone!

You wouldnt need to disappear, just dont carry the case around everywhere. If the commentators dont mention it, most people will forget about it. I think TNA did something similar with Feast or Fired a few years ago. Eric Young or Kevin Nash got a tag title match and hardly ever mentioned it until Morgan was laid out for an easy cash in. Do it like that but completly forget about it instead of constantly reminding people that it's coming. It will be a much bigger shock then.

Could still be used, and hopefully it will be...

That homeless group from NXT, "the family" come to wwe and win the tag belts, only to sell them on ebay for a massive amount of money. Husky Harris is very disappointed in them and abandons them, leaving the two idiots with all the money, which they blow on stupid things resulting in many comedy sketches.
But who bought the belts??... Ted DiBiase Jr of course, and his new tag team partner, and pretty much his slave, Husky Harris!... or Virgil could make a comeback :)

Always had an idea to introduce a new character so here it goes.

A new executive comes in for a gm or other authority power, a low key kind of thing, doesn't say much just seemis extremely professional and not overblown character. As the weeks go by various wrestlers are being viciously attacked back stage which garners the gms attention, a who done it angle incurs.

Over the course of the coming months it because a lot more frequent and more vicious, the executive is with the gm at all times while addressing the crowd. Remember josh Matthews nose bleed, well barely notice on the screen the executive coughs up a little blood, camera shys away. Subtle things like that you wouldn't really notice but remember when the reveal comes.

Anyway finally CCTV footage is found of a particularly vicious assault on a vulnerable wrestler (think Zac gowen, hornswoggle etc) anyway the reveal shows its the executive that done it.

Back in the gm turns around to see his executive with a very sinister look on his face , until he attacks. The attack would have to be like vinces pen attack on hogan. No mercy and a very satisfied look on his face, his suit covered in blood.

The executives (we shall call him ted dahmer) promos tell how he just wanted to inflict pain, he was in an environment where violence is encouraged yet due to his role as an executive he couldn't do what he loved most. This cause him sleepless nights, the stress led to him having physical illness(hence him coughing up blood) . He is a christian bale in American pyscho....the calm collective person who is just mentally insane.

Vince returns to confront him but embraces him , this man embodies ruthless aggression , unlike the last wrestler who claimed to be ruthless, unlike cena. This leads to the executive attacking cena building up a massive furd between cena and vinces new pet. Concluding at wrestle mania.....where dahmer loses.

Subsequently vince is pissed and fires dahmer.....he is broken up he now has to leave the violence that he loves.

A few months later promos start airing, incoherent promos just absolutely mental crazy promos. Sure enough it's dahmer who is returning with a band of misfits who have also been shunned by vince.

We get pirate transmissions of a haggard but invigorated dahmer showing up at Indy events, reminding vince he is coming after his promotion.

Finally him and his band of misfits...the devils rejects...show up at raw and take over...dahmer, the briscoes, and two other top Indy names. They take over raw in a way that has never been done they beat everyone heels faces doesn't matter, if they are under the wwe banner.

This carets on for awhile survivor series match 5 on 5 etc....dahmer takes out the old guard Kane trips etc wins the title and mistreats it, doesnt valur it just wants it to show utter disrespect to it and piss off everyone, create anarchy.

that is until vinces brings out the one guy who embodies wwe....The undertaker. A dark weird storyline occurs...think batman and joker....dahmer the elaborate crazy villain with his devils rejects who would be willing to die for him and the dark knight undertaker. Obviously concluding at wrestle mania

    good v evil...

    title v streak...

    Dahmer v undertaker

    And the winner is........

    Involves Royal Rumble spoiler
In the Royal Rumble main event, Brock Lesnar should have helped a fellow Paul Heyman guy, CM Punk, instead of the Shield. CM Punk would retain and the Rock would reignite his rivalry with Brock Lesnar culminating in a WrestleMania match.

Kane and Bryan rebrand themselves as a pair of militant atheists:

    Team No Hell.
