PRTB registration - how do I know?

    I would like to know how i can tell if my landlord has registered with the prtb i checked the website but its all very confusing was i supposed to recieve a letter or any sort of confermation ? Any help would be appreciated

    Did you fill in the form? If no, then it is unlikely you are registered.

    If you did and the landlord sent off the form, you should (eventually) receive a letter confirming the registration.

    The list is only updated periodically, may not be up to date and has errors. You might try different versions of your address, e.g. instead of searching for "29 Murphy's Lane", search for "29 Murphy" or just "Murphy", while searching only the street columns.

    The obligation on being registered is with the landlord and it doesn't affect the tenant's rights.

    well the thing is we went through a letting agent and they just askef for our pps numbers i am just wondering as i am six months into the lease and never recieved conformation thats all

    It can actually take 6 months to send out the confirmation letters (I'm not joking)- but as Victor says, its time to get in touch with them to find out whats happening.
