Clongriffen or bayside to Howth Junction and 17a towards Blanchardstown for Blanch IT.

How long is the bus journey ?

17a probably seems the most logical to Blanch but it's a horrible route. I use it fairly frequently at peaks from Kilbarrack to Santry, and it can take 40 minutes alone to do that stretch. Double it for Blanch? Over an hour anyway.
Not the most reliable too, although it's improved a tad recently.

To DBS, 15 straight into Kildare St. and walk down to Aungier St.

And the 17a doesn't actually go past Blanch IT, so it'd be over an hour on the bus plus a walk of maybe 15 minutes.

It will depend on time of day. Try www.a-b.ie - make sure you put in the exact locations and times /dates.

If you live right next to Clongriffen train station, then getting a DART to Connolly and train to Navan Road Parkway may make sense. You then change to a 38/a/b to Blanchardstown IT.

DART to Tara Street may also be useful to get to the 38/a/b at Eason's O'Connell Street.
