just wondering what would happen should more than 3/4 of a class fail a module...

We got our CA results last week and more than 3/4 failed (pretty badly most people got less than 25%)

The reason was because the college failed to give us a lecturer for the first half of the term, our first class in the subject was the 5th November and the lecturer they hired is useless....

If something similar happens in the exam and most of us (65-70 people) fail, do the college have to do something? (especially if its the only subject most of us failed)

Can't comment about other colleges but years/modules with high failure rates were referred to the Senior Lecturer in Trinity who investigated and returned with findings the following year.

Why did everyone fail? Was there something asked which wasn't covered in the lectures?

we were told it would be a multiple choice test, but 2 days before the test they changed it to having Q's as well, the college also tried to make up for the missed hours by having extra classes in the evening which most people couldn't make because of transport issues.

The lecturer was very unclear and when anyone asked a question she wouldn't explain it also the notes and presentations make no sense and are very unclear.
