Depends what time you have to get up at.

You better stay up until 19:45. That would be a better time to go sleepies!

Technically I'd love to go to bed. But then I know what's waiting for me tomorrow, so I'll be using the next few hours to prevent the inevitable and create a time machine to go back to Friday evening and start the weekend again. Just waiting for Doc Brown to get back.

Way too early, if I went to bed now I'd be up again about 4am

I think so yes. You run the risk of waking up before the time you actually want get up at, depending on what time you are getting up. But if I went to be at 7:45, and had to get up at 7:00am the next morning. I'd probably wake up at 4:00am or something and wouldn't get back to sleep.

Then again, if you're dead tired or jet lagged, you might be fine.

    Permission granted, extenuating circumstances.

Be warned however this course of action may cause you to wake up about 12 feeling all crusty, then you won't be able to get asleep til about 3, then when you wake up tomorrow you'll be knackered.

which will cause you to go to bed at 7-ish.
    infinite loop.
    fair city missed.
    life ruined.

Unless, you were partaking in that new craze of joining two names together to make one and when you said you had a dilemma, what you actually meant was that you had a Dildo carrying friend called Emma, then yes, it is too early to go to bed.

Why would you want to shorten your weekend? The sooner you go to sleep, the sooner it's Monday.

I spent most of today in bed and am lying in bed as I type this. But that's what anxiety and depression do to a lot of people.

OP - go to bed if you feel like it.

Watch porn on your laptop in bed until you feel yourself getting sleepy and then pull yourself wearily beneath the sheets.

Used to only sleep every second night, I was always full of energy too! Especially the day after no sleep.

Nobody should ever model their sleeping patterns on you, they'd prob die of exhaustion within a month. A one off!

I sleep fine now. Up at 5am most mornings though! Hate waking up to darkness but It's nice to have coffee and relax before the world wakes up

Ah Iv gone months like that too. For years I got on ok with less than 2 hours a night or sometimes no sleep for a day or two.

Your body is great at adapting.

5am  Jaysus the only reason I'd be up at that time would be to drain me pisshorn and then back to bed for another few hours
