Recording to memory stick

    I have upc analogue, viewed on a samsung tv....can I record onto a memory stick. If so.... How.... What equipment would i need?

    Don't think so. The USB slot (if you have one) on your TV is for input only so can be used to plug in a memory stick or connect a hard drive containing movies.

    Some of the Saorview set-top boxes have a USB slot for recording programs on a memory stick or connected hard drive but if your TV source is UPC analogue then I can't see how you could record programs to a USB stick.

    On my TV - plug in memory stick. Select PVR in options. Press Red for record.

    Press 'option' on my remote and it's on the menu that pops up

    Some TV's have this, some do not.
    Mostly the more expensive ones, it should be listed
    in the user manual if it can be done.

    Look for "recording" in the user guide index.

    Hannspree set. You can set it to record but I think you still have to be there to press 'ok', iirc. It just lets you know that the programme is schedueld to start (I think). You can't change the channel when you are recording
