I have a set of Cosmic Carbone SL wheels with a PowerTap SL 2.4 in the rear hub for sale. They're 2 years old but I'm embarrassed to say they've really had very little use. I bought them as I was thinking of getting into competing in time trials but then work, study, and getting married got in the way and what time I did spend on the bike was spent training for doing La Marmotte route. So, they have less than 500km on them and are in excellent condition and include the Continental GP4000s tyres.

These were 1,800euro new and I know that's not relevant as what's relevant is what people are prepared to pay for them now, but as the forum rule is that you accept first offer of asking price and I'm struggling to determine what the current value is, I'll set the asking price at 1,000 euro and am open to offers.

I've attached a few pics below. I work in D18 and live in D12 and can arrange midweek evening viewings or at the weekend.

Wish I'd seen these 6/12 ago! Would've bitten you're hand off!!
Lived in D18 until last weekend. But back up next weekend.
Assume its an ANT+ compatible unit?

If they had only been put up 2weeks ago I would have taken them at asking,it's the best priced mavic cosmic with powertap around,I can't see why you will not get your asking price,

Thanks speedmerchant for the offer, though I'll keep the ad open for a good while in the hope of getting the asking price or very close to it.

Yes, the PowerTap unit is Ant+ compatible. Also forgot to mention that these are the ones with the aluminium clincher rims (though that's probably obvious from the pics anyway).

Interested. Just been considering purchasing a powermeter system so good timing.
Have you manuals, original software etc?
    Where were they purchased?
Finally have you checked their functionality recently- battery, head unit readings etc?
    Thanks

Sorry, I was away this evening.

I purchased these from a site in Germany, can't recall the exact details - I've changed email accounts since then so will have to trawl through stuff to find it, but should be no bother.

I haven't used the wheels for over 6 months and I remember that I took the battery out as last time I used them it was interfering with the readings from my SRM crank powermeter Garmin could only take one. I have new batteries of that type so will put a fresh one in. What I'd suggest is that the buyer bring their bike and a cassette when collecting, we put their cassette onto the wheel (I can do this if needed, can bring tools), and then get them to verify they're comfortable that it's working with their own eyes.

I knew I was forgetting something when I posted the ad earlier but I couldn't remember what but the question above reminded me: I do have a Cycleops 2.4 head unit, heart strap, USB cradle, battery removal tool and mounting unit. I also have the Cycleops manuals, DVD "Intro to training with power", and PowerAgent 7.All of this comes in a nice black case I'd completely forgotten about as I never used it as I had all this from a previous powertap.

This pack retails at about 120 euro and I guess technically I could say that as it wasn't included in the ad description and is available as an item sold separately, I could say it's not included. Not sure if I'm allowed to edit the ad to expand the scope of the items offered and price to include this pack, if I was, I guess I'd have set the price at 1,050 euro. But the pack has no value to me if I sell the PowerTap so I'd like to include it with the sale. But if I have to stick to the 1,000 euro asking price, I'll do that and throw in the pack anyway, though with the original price I was pricing it to sell without being greedy, but at 1,000 for the lot I'd feel like I've short-changed myself.

If the wheels are as good as they look ill have no problem with the 50 extra.
