    Hi guys,

I am writing on behalf of my sister-in-law, she doesn't have an account. Anyway she is just after getting engaged and both her and her fiance want to go abroad to get married, just the two of them, and then a party when they come home. Anyway she was looking at St. Lucia or somewhere like that but doesn't know where to start. Googling all this has proved quite overwhelming!
Anyway she just wants to know if anyone has any advice on where to go and the cost etc or indeed if anyone has gone abroad and married with just the two of them how did it go, what did ye do etc

    Thanks in advance :)

Anywhere in the West Indies is nice to get married in. St Lucia, Antigua and Barbados are very popular. Jamaica is nice too, but wouldn't recommend it. You'll be stuck in the resort as it is not recommended you leave there to explore. Residency in Barbados is only 7 days, but I don't know about the other islands. I'm nearly certain Virgin offer wedding packages as does Kuoni and Sandals. Have a look on their websites.

Your SiL needs to scope out exactly where she would like to go. I can help with info about Barbados and Antigua, if you like. PM me if you need to.

    HTH! :)
