    Lads & Ladies anybody any idea why my burner will only come on for a few seconds and then switch off.The retun pipe is not even that hot (the rads are not even getting warm).I have the temp set to full.

    You need to call in an RGI. Sounds like a Venturi issue or flame rectification.

    Just checked nothing blocking the Flue. But the heat exchanger is roasting to touch.

    Have you opened the boiler to touch the heat exchanger. You shouldn't.
    If the boiler is firing and heating the exchanger, then probably pump failure or heat exchanger blockage.
    You still need an RGI. It is illegal & dangerous to open a gas boiler & put your hands in.

    Thanks Shane I will wait and get an RGI.I turned off the boiler disconneted from the mains and just took the front off I didn't unscrew anything or meddle with anything just touch the outside of exchanger to see was it heating up.
