I would have thought you would have got the message by now, but if anyone wants to turn this into a doping speculation thread don't be surprised when you get hit with the cards and bans

    Several posts deleted

    Thanks

Edit - any questions, read the forum rules or PM me - don't respond in thread

It will be interesting to see Shane's role going forward. Looking at the 5 part documentary on Sky, he clearly was the one who had a huge influence on Wiggins. Replacing him might not be so easy.

From reading Wiggin's book it appeared that the two people within the Sky set-up who he worked closest with were Sutton and Yates and now one is gone and the other has stepped aside! Certainly something going on within the team!

Same money for less hours and less job security or the same hours for more money again with less security.

    Consultancy at its finest.

I reckon the chances of Wiggo winning a GT again are bleak.
He took his chance when he could. In doing that he depended very heavily on Sutton, Yates and certain key riders.
In his own words, Wiggo likes to just rude the bike and leave the thinking planning and preparation to trusted advisors.
Unless he has a similar relationship with Tim kerrison I imagine that this year in Team Sky will be more about Geraint Thomas and Chris Froome and less about Bradley.

Geraint Thomas as a rider for the overall? Not a hope in my opinion. He cant climb.

I do not mean GT for a GT, just wins in general.
I think he is a superb rider and I will be watching him closely this year. Hope he has gotten this track nonsense out of his system ;-)

Thomas and Sagan could well be the Boonen and Cancellara of the coming years.

Isn't Shane Sutton recovering from a serious bike/car accident? Could that have something to do with the job change?
