    Where's a good place to go in August, that has sun, nightlife, beaches and nice hotels? Maybe with a spa in it?

    You might want to narrow your question down a lot. As it stands basically all of continental Europe with a coastline is the answer.

    You could go to any of the Spanish resorts Benidorm, Majorca, etc. depends on the age group you want too..

    I'd be looking for somewhere for thirty odd year olds myself its very hard in your thirties to know where to go :D
