cardboard boxes for moving

    Looking to see if anyone knows where i can get free cardboard boxes for moving house, on southside.

    Just ask in any of the local shops, they have to break them up anyway so I am sure they would keep you a few once you collect on the day or something

    Off licenses are a good bet as the boxes they use tend to be strong and not too big. You are better off with a lot of smaller boxes than a few big ones. The tendency to over fill boxes can be a real killer :-)

    Fruit/vag boxes from aldi are good for dvd's booke etc. I use them in my last 6 house moves since 2006.
