So I left a job because the hours were terrible. Could work 6AM to 2PM one day, follwoing day 9AM to 5PM, next day 5AM to 3PM, never worked same hours two days in a row and wages were crap. Had to work every weekend as well. I was a like a zombie every day and I'm the not the best sleeper when it comes to changing pattern. New role is looking for 6 candidates to start immedialtly.

I have an interview now in a very similar role at 9 to 5 Mon to friday fora lot more money but was unemployed for three months. What will I tell the new employers why I left my lost job. My last boss was nice enough so I should I ring him and ask him to say the contract was up.

Really bugging me now because if I tell my new employers one thing and my last manager says another thing I won't get the job. Ugh

Rule number one, do not ask other people to lie for you, they might actually have scruples and refuse to have anything to do with you!

Excellent advice, there is a very good chance that doing that would harm your chances not help them. You decided to leave your job voluntarily so it's up to explain that, only if you have to though.
