Best Place to buy cheap tools for DIY

    Hi all,

    Just wondering where in Ireland is the best / cheapest place to buy DIY power tools in ireland, such as SDS drills, routers, skill saws etc?

    Also, I am after a bend drill / drill press, need to drill through 120mm of hardwood with 18mm hole - what is the min id have to spend to get a drill capable of doing this?

    For the most part, if you buy cheap tools, you will have to replace them in the not too distant future. I am sure with the downturn of the construction industry that there is a wealth of second hand quality tools out there. Look at adverts.ie and classifieds. Maybe put up an ad stating what you are looking for?
