    Hi

Does anyone know where to get cheap second hand judo mats or 40mm foam mats around Dublin?

We're currently using the awful blue jigsaw mats from Smyths at the moment and urgently need something better, just don't really have much to spend...

Sorry if this is posted in the wrong place, or if I shouldn't be posting it here at all - just let me know if it's a problem

For second hand mats I'd say your best bet is to contact the various judo, jiu jitsu and other grappling clubs directly and ask if they're planning to get rid of any mats in the near future - particularly the college clubs, some of which can get a grant for new mats occasionally.

Edit: Ignore the angry face I have fat finger syndrome on my phone and can't edit it.

Heh, you'd think. Still using the same old Judo mats in UCD handed down to the tai chi and lau gar clubs for last 20 odd years. Yup, you've trained on them too, and I don't doubt I'll see my kids training on them before UCD will cough up for any new ones. Getting hall space in which to lay said mats is the new battle.

    That's the cheapest I've found.

Was thinking of ordering a few for my home but as of now have no experience with them.
