Hi all, has anyone seen the band Midnight Sounds play at a wedding? They seem quite good, and the price is right but I'm just a little concerned about lack of reviews anywhere on the web.

They are having a showcase in Dublin tomorrow but I can't make it, and am running out of time to get a band!

how did you hear of them and have you been to see them? a lot of bands come from recommendations of friends who had them but also a lot of really good bands dont push themselves online and do word of mouth instead, weddingsonline is where most recommendations are found but they are a business and they are very expensive and as they dont allow discussion of non-advertising vendors its very likely you wouldnt see many recommendations compared to their regular vendors (who are all the best in ireland according to reports on there) so dont worry about that so much.

what date is the wedding and what county?

http://www.weddingsireland.com/supplier/midnight-sounds-irelands-favourite-wedding-band/ here's a few reviews on them (and some on their own website)

Don't be put off by lack of reviews on the internet... Weddingsonline.ie is €1200 a year for suppliers, grand if you're a hotel or an agency of some kind, but sole traders like videographers and musicians have a tough old time coming up with that IMO.
Just because someone isn't a supplier on a website, or that they don't have 100s of testimonials on the internet, it doesn't mean they're not great at what they do!

Midnight Sounds have a great reputation, have plenty about them on the internet and they have a great price you'd be hard pushed to improve upon that if you're running out of time!

Good luck with all of it!
