    Ok guys n gals,

I'm new to the cosmos. I'm slowly developing what feels like an addiction to the night sky. I've become hugely fascinated by science, on all levels.

So obviously I would love to get a great view of the sky. I'd imagine it'll be like the first time I scuba dived in tropical waters. It nearly brought me to tears. It was like I had access to a secret world. Seeing it for the first time...

So a couple of questions, is there somewhere in Dublin or Ireland were someone could buy a ticket, or book a viewing of a huge telescope. The type used by scientists.

And also, has anyone suggestions for a pair of binoculars to get me started, decent enough to see some great sites.
